Founded on the 3D principles of Diversity, Discovery and Dissemination, the Ensemble Obiora strives to bring a new and diverse voice to classical music in Canada.  The Obiora Ensemble presents ”Afro-Classics”, a concert dedicated to works by Black composers who have marked the history of Western classical music. The program includes music by classical period composer Joseph Boulogne (1745-1799), romantic era Samuel Coleridge-Taylor (1875-1912), and cotemporary Jeff Scott (b.1967).
